HOW TO SPOT A CON ARTIST SELLING CURRENCY ON EBAY
* Selling a high end note with no prior feedback ratings

* Most of the feedback are for very low dollar amounts or are from non-currency related transactions.
* MAKE SURE the feedbacks you are looking at are for FEEDBACKS AS A SELLER!
HOW TO SPOT AN UNSCRUPULOUS CURRENCY DEALER ON EBAY
HOW TO DETERMINE THAT AN EBAY CURRENCY SELLER WITH A HIGH POSITIVE FEEDBACK SCORE MAY BE JUST A TAD LESS TRUSTWORTHY THAN THE SCORE IMPLIES.
Count your fingers after shaking hands with these guys and gals! Some dealers will actually use the rules to their own benefit - imagine that!
* The statement “I am note a certified grader” or “I don’t know anything about currency” , especially when followed by a statement such as “Look at the photos and you be the judge”.
* A seller that does not allow returns.
* Poor quality photos - Photos that are too blurred, too dark, or too small.
* A “ NO RETURNS” policy.
* Absence of a stated grade.
* Paragraphs of wordy descriptions of the condition of a banknote that are actually vague in nature without the seller stating either the grade of the note or his/her/their opinion of how the note should grade.
I HOPE THAT THIS QUICK HOW-TO GUIDE WILL BE OF SOME USE OR VALUE TO YOU AND THAT IT WILL HELP YOU TO AVOID SOME OF THE PITFALLS THAT I HAVE FALLEN PREY TO SINCE I HAVE BEGUN COLLECTING U.S. ERROR CURRENCY.
GOOD LUCK, GOOD BIDDING, AND GOODBYE!
